Florence (50 minutes)

Florence, the heart of the Renaissance and the administrative capital of Tuscany, charms millions of visitors every year with its distinctive historic center.

Tourists from all over the world are drawn to architectural wonders such as the Duomo, the Baptistery, the imposing Palazzo Vecchio, and the famous Uffizi Gallery, which offers a direct route to the Ponte Vecchio and the banks of the Arno River.

Siena (50 minutes)

The city of Siena is well-known for its fascinating medieval structures, splendid ancient palaces and majestic towers.

The city is most famous for Piazza del Campo and the Palio di Siena, a fervent equestrian competition that deeply involves the city’s various districts and takes place twice a year.

Pisa (1 hour)

Pisa is internationally famous mainly for its iconic leaning tower. The city is also close to Montepulciano and Pienza, two locations where numerous Renaissance wonders can be admired.

Not far from Pisa and a short distance from Florence is Podere la Querce.

Lucca (1 hour 15 minutes)

When exploring Lucca, you should start with its 4-km-long 16th-century walls, which surround the entire historic center, rich in churches and period buildings.

A must-see is the Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, now known as Piazza del Mercato.
Also worth visiting are the collection housed by the National Picture Gallery and the monument to Ilaria del Carretto located in Lucca Cathedral, recognized as one of the most emblematic masterpieces of Italian Renaissance sculpture.

Livorno (1 hour 10 minutes)

Livorno is best known for its port, which is one of the largest in the Mediterranean and serves commercial, tourist and industrial purposes.

The city also offers numerous tourist attractions, including the Castello del Boccale, the Anglican Church, the Fortezza Vecchia, the Porta San Marco, and the Torre della Meloria.

Along with the most famous cities, Tuscany is also renowned for its ancient villages, which keep their ancient style intact: San Gimignano (40 minutes), Cortona (distance: 1 hour 40 minutes) and Volterra (distance: 1 hour).
